YOU TOUCH MY HEART
This game is especially enjoyable with the womenfolk from the bride’s party usually been on keeping the groom on his toes. A long piece of cloth is required for this game. It might also be an old saree. Several round slots are made on the saree, each enough for a hand to pass through. The saree is held at it’s length by two people and behind it stand woman (upto ten) from the bride’s party. All the women (including the bride) thrust their hand upto the wrist out of the holes. The groom stands on the other side, from where he can only see several hands in a row coming out of the saree holes. Now, the challenge for the groom is to search and hold his bride’s hand, which has has asked for in marriage, out of all the ten hands. The groom has three chances to get back his bride. Falling this, he has to make a special request to his sis-in-laws as well as submit a fine before his bride is handed back to him.

GROOM’S TAX
This is a special game to be played between the groom and his sisters-in-law. The sisters-in-law will check if the groom remembers their names, what they’re doing, their favourite things, likes, hobbies etc. by asking him questions one by one. As long as the groom answers correctly, it’s OK and sis-in-law continues with her questions. And the moment the groom misses an answer, he is asked to pay a ‘Groom’s Tax’ of Rs. 100 or so to the questioner. Then it’s the turn of the next sis-in-law. Others, like aunts and friends of the bride from the bride’s party can also join the questioning game and tax the groom.
